NRL Round 10 Judiciary Update: Quartet Make Plea

Joseph Sua'ali'i, Luke Keary, Angus Crichton and Sandon Smith have all entered early guilty pleas in relation to their respective charges after being cited by the Match Review Committee in Round 10. 

As a result, Sua'ali'i will receive a monetary fine of $1000, Keary will receive a monetary fine of $1800 and Crichton will receive a monetary fine of $1000, while Smith will be unavailable for selection in the Roosters’ Round 11 match.

Following the Sydney Roosters Round 10 match against the New Zealand Warriors, Joseph Sua'ali'i, Luke Keary, Angus Crichton and Sandon Smith have been cited by the Match Review Committee.

Joseph Sua'ali'i was issued with a Grade One Dangerous Contact Charge for an incident that occurred in the 22nd minute of the match. 

Should Sua'ali'i elect to enter an early guilty plea, he will receive a monetary fine of $1000. If found guilty at the judiciary, however, he will receive a monetary fine of $1500.

Luke Keary was issued with a Grade One Dangerous Contact Charge for an incident that occurred in the 25th minute of the match. 

Should Keary elect to enter an early guilty plea, he will receive a monetary fine of $1800. If found guilty at the judiciary, however, he will receive a monetary fine of $2500. 

Angus Crichton was issued with a Grade One Dangerous Contact (Tripping) Charge for an incident that occurred in the 60th minute of the match. 

Should Crichton elect to enter an early guilty plea, he will receive a monetary fine of $1000. If found guilty at the judiciary, however, he will receive a monetary fine of $1500. 

Sandon Smith was issued with a Grade Two Dangerous Contact Charge for an incident that occurred in the 75th minute of the match.

Should Smith elect to enter an early guilty plea, he will be unavailable for one match. If found guilty at the judiciary, however, he will be unavailable for two matches.

The players have until Tuesday at 12pm to enter their pleas.

There were no other judiciary concerns for the other players that featured in the match.
