Fresh from producing arguably the upset of the season to down defending premiers the Knights, the Dragons are back on home soil and looking to claim another big win against the Roosters.

The Dragons fought back from a slow start and were aided by the guidance provided when Tyla King came onto the field to turn the tables on Newcastle.

They face a new challenge this week against a Roosters side that has hit form following an opening round loss, with their star players stepping up when it counts.

Last week, it was forward Millie Elliott who helped lay the platform for her side and it looks to be a great match-up up front in this game, with Dragons prop Angelina Teakaraanga-Katoa coming into the match after earning five Dally M points for her efforts.

Team News

Dragons: No late changes for the Dragons after Alice Gregory was named on Saturday to make her NRLW debut on the wing in place of Leio Fotu-Moala. Forward Jamilee Bright has been returned to the 17 on the bench after being cleared of injury after being taken from the field against the Knights. Steph Hancock is the 18th player. Tyla King slots into the starting line-up this week to pair with Raecene McGregor in the halves, moving Zali Hopkins to the bench. Ella Koster has been named for her first game of the year coming back from a shoulder injury.

Roosters: A number of positional changes on game day with Isabelle Kelly moving to centre and Jocelyn Kelleher taking the five-eighth position. Otesa Pule will move into the second row with Olivia Kernick, which will see Amber Hall move to the bench. Tavarna Papalii, who missed the early stages of the season as she made her return from injury, has been added to the bench along with Tiana Davison. The 18th player is Samantha Economos.
