The Sydney Roosters have today announced that kids will go free at the Club’s final home game of the regular season, courtesy of the Club’s Major Partner, Steggles.
As part of the commitment to being “Stegglers for Family”, up to two free junior tickets are available with the purchase of any Category 2 or General Admission adult ticket purchase made from today (Thursday, August 22) onwards.
This offer is available online via Ticketek and will continue until allocations are exhausted.
In what is certain to be a huge day of Father’s Day footy, the Roosters will celebrate the Steggles Charity Nest and the Club’s inaugural Emergency Services Event with a triple-header at Allianz Stadium on Sunday, September 1.
“This is again another generous initiative by Steggles for what is certain to be a very special day for the Club as we celebrate and acknowledge the significant achievements of the Steggles Charity Nest,” said Roosters CEO Joe Kelly.
“Since 2010 the Steggles Charity Nest has raised in excess of $5million and we are fast closing in on a record breaking $5.5million which would be simply amazing.
“For all Roosters Members and Fans, Sunday, September 1 will truly be for all Families as we host a Father’s Day triple-header and pay tribute to our Emergency Services,” he added.
In addition to the celebration of the Steggles Charity Nest, the pre-game festivities will include a number of precinct activities along Driver Ave from 1.15pm, a PolAir landing, and the special delivery of the match ball by the NSW Police Force.
On the field, fans will be treated to three matches, with the NSW Police Rugby League v Australia Firefighters Rugby League kicking off the day’s proceedings at 1.55pm. The Round 26 NRL match between the Roosters and Canberra Raiders will commence at 4.05pm, followed by the Round 6 NRLW match between the sides at 6.30pm.
“The Steggles Charity Nest Round is always a highlight of the season and this year it brilliantly coincides with Father’s Day. We are proud to partner with the Sydney Roosters to give more families the opportunity to watch the game together and make their experience a memorable one,” said Steggles Head of Marketing, Yash Gandhi.
“The Steggles Roosters Charity Nest has helped raise over $5 million since 2010 and has helped children’s charities like Ronald McDonald House Charities, Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation and Children’s Cancer Institute,” he added.
