The Glebe Dirty Reds have won their first Ron Massey Cup premiership with a convincing 19-6 victory over the Wentworthville Magpies in the Grand Final at Leichhardt Oval.
Glebe, who finished 4th in the minor premiership won four successive sudden death finals, defeating teams 5, 2, 1 and 3 on their way to the title.
It was Glebe’s first title since 1927 when they won the third grade premiership when they were part of the major Sydney premiership.
