Roosters choose teams for New Zealand trip
NSW Cup Team (Round 3):
Roosters NSW Cup Coach Brett Morris has chosen his side for this Friday’s clash with the New Zealand Warriors in Auckland. The Club welcomes back Fetalaiga ‘Junior’ Pauga from a back injury for his first match of the season. He will slot in at right centre for Ben Johnson. In other changes Vito Tevaga moves from the bench to take Ethan Roberts’ left second row spot, with Roberts going back to the bench.
Rhys Dakin goes back to the bench also with his replacement in the front row yet to be announced but likely to come from the Roosters NRL extended squad. The Roosters Cup half back for Friday will also be chosen later in the week.
A further change to the pack may also occur depending on any ripple effect from Salesi Foketi’s NRL judiciary hearing on Tuesday night.
On the bench Kyron Fekitoa takes over from S.G. Ball captain Jaxson Allen (concussion).

Jersey Flegg Cup Team (Round 3):
Roosters Jersey Flegg Cup Coach Dean Feeney has made a few changes to his side for Saturday’s clash with the Warriors in New Zealand. S.G. Ball centre Lui Lee returns to that grade and is replaced by James Khoo. The other S.G. Ball Cup player who played last weekend, Itula Seve, also returns to the S.G. Ball Cup squad, with a reshuffle required to fill his spot.
Zack Visconti moves from lock to prop, Jackson De Lisle from the bench to lock and Fanafou Seve, the older brother of Itula, joins the bench. Fanafou Seve comes to the Club from Canterbury-Bankstown and played in the front row for NSW last season in their Under 19s Origin clash with Queensland.
The other change sees French international Enzo Griffier move from the bench to replace Jasper Catton in the second row, His bench spot is taken by Queenslander Joseph Currie, who played a few games last season for the Roosters Jersey Flegg squad.
