Big weekend coming for Roosters junior representative sides.

 

Sydney Roosters S.G. Ball Cup Team (Round 7):

 

Sydney Roosters S.G. Ball Cup Coach Boyd Cordner has made a stack of changes to his side to play the Balmain Tigers at Leichhardt on Sunday.

 

Fullback Jackson Stewart and left centre Lui Lee return to the side after missing the last game. Stewart replaces Mikey Nassar whilst William Pappas, after a strong game against the Sharks, moves to the wing to make way for Lee in the centres. Baxter Warner drops out of the 17. Lachlan Dooner moves from the bench to play right centre, replacing Cohen Dittman. Halfback Toby Rodwell, who played two grades up last week in the N.S.W. Cup, has not been named. Instead, Tyson Walker has shifted from five eighth to halfback with Brooklyn Rosemeyer recalled to the team as five eighth.

 

In the forwards prop Phillip Lavakeiaho moves to the bench with his replacement in the starting lineup to be named later in the week. Hooker and Captain Jaxson Allen, who was concussed playing N.S.W. Cup last weekend, is out, replaced by Liam Bell. Itula Seve returns to the bench, after missing the match against Cronulla, as does Eddy Cayless who hasn’t played for six weeks. Coby Thomas and Chaice Bayley drop off the bench.

Sydney Roosters Harold Matthews Cup Coach Chris Crotty has named his side to play the Canberra Raiders at Belconnen on Saturday.

 

With Kalen Cashin unavailable, Payton Gifford moves from fullback to hooker, replacing Hunter May. Triston Ross is the new fullback. Local eastern suburbs junior Kobi Siltala moves from the bench to the second row, replacing Jackson Rodwell, whilst Aloysius Va’a, younger brother of Xavier and De La salle, takes Siltala’s bench spot.

Central Coast Roosters Harold Matthews Cup Coach Paul Franze has named his team to play the Melbourne Storm at Berkley Vale on Saturday.

 

Quality centre Joshua Fesolai will miss this match with Koby Houghton his replacement, whilst winger Fylnn Wilson is also out, replaced by Semi Leweniqita.

 

In the forwards lock Alexander Stephenson is replaced by Caleb Fesolai, who moves from the front row, with Blessing Foini moving from the bench to take Fesolai’s prop spot. Foini’s bench replacement will be announced later in the week.

Sydney Roosters Indigenous Academy Tarsha Gale Cup Coach Keeley Davis has named her side to take on Cronulla-Sutherland at Cronulla this Saturday.

 

In an unusual move left winger Anabelle Ross and hooker Jayda Durham have swapped spots with Ross named at hooker for this week.

 

Prop Tyra Dymock has been named on the bench again but that has happened many times this season, only for her to start in the front row. Her place currently in the front row is taken by Fa’agase Tupuola-Palale. Joining Dymock on the bench selected are Aaliyah Boland, Layla Barrett and Lillie McLean. Mahlie Cashin, Mhia Mackey-Taylor and Luca-Bella Ngatuere-Ongley all drop of the bench.

Central Coast Roosters Lisa Fialoa Cup Team (Round 7):

 

Central Coast Roosters Lisa Fialoa Cup Coach Jayme Fressard has named her team to play Cronulla-Sutherland on Saturday at Cronulla.

 

Centre Talia Berryman returns to the side with Captain Mia Vatauua moving back to five eighth and Coco Marsters going back to the bench.

 

In the forwards, Emilee-Rose Hall moves from lock to prop forcing Makenna Hammond back to the bench. Aaliyah Temete is the new lock forward. 15-year-old second row forward Morgan Kernick is out, replaced by Star Arthur-Clarke.

 

Addison Webb, Elly Taylor and Veronica Sefo drop off the bench to make way for Marsters, Hammond and Anastasia Leatupue, who will play her first match for the Central Coast, after playing last season for the Sydney Roosters.
